Thirroul Public School undertook a virtuous task of enabling inclusivity for one of their students who requires a wheelchair at school, contracting Wollongong City Excavation & Demolition to remove some of the current infrastructure to bring in more conducive infrastructure for somebody in a wheelchair, such as ramps and easy access throughout the school. Working alongside the skilled tradesmen at Davone Constructions, we were able to build concrete ramps for wheelchair access, demolish the existing toilet block and make alterations around the school for easier access for this student and any future students.
