Description of Work:

Wollongong City Excavation & Demolition conducted work alongside the team at Peloton Constructions on the new Australia Post Depot in Albion Park. This was a relatively straightforward job for us, being a simple strip-out job of the walls and furniture in the existing warehouse. We were required to remove a large safe in the upstairs office of the warehouse, weighing over 3 tonnes, we needed to bring in the machinery to lift it out of the upstairs area and remove. The new Australia Post depot needed a reinstalment of its asphalt carpark and resurfacing of the driveway to ensure the heavy load of the Australia Post trucks is taken into consideration. The interior of the offices was hand stripped by our dedicated team at Wollongong City Excavation and Demolition and left the shell of the warehouse ready to be refitted.
