Our Projects

Anglicare – Affordable Living

WCED were contracted on a demolition, earthmoving, and civil construction / civil excavation basis by PBS Building to make way for more affordable housing within the Illawarra for aged residents. WCED conducted a demolition on 3 buildings within the complex under very testing weather conditions during the peak of La Nina from February – July with heavy and constant downpour of rain. This made vehicle access demanding and constant top ups of aggregate and road base to enable an effective worksite were required on site. The initial demolition was conducted over a month basis, removing the building structure and concrete paving and footings. Civil construction was conducted by WCED and took place roughly 2 months into the job, with our skilled excavating operators and skid steer drivers paving the way for the construction to take place by PBS.

SES Coniston

For this job, we were hired to level a large area for the SES vehicles to have better access on-site and provide some guttering as well for better run off in times of rain.
